Why should you have to sacrifice your networking time for time on the water?

The answer to all of these questions is simple: you shouldn’t.

Today’s society is only becoming more and more connected to the various kinds of technology in today’s market, and so, it only makes sense that you remain connected while onboard. A vessel is your home away from home and although it may act as your escape from reality, you shouldn’t be completely disconnected from the rest of the world if you don’t want to be! Your home has high-speed internet and your boat should as well, there is no question about that. MPI stands by the fact that you shouldn’t have to compromise using technology for time spent on your vessel, which is why we make turning your yacht into a “smart yacht” an easy process.

The Connected Yacht™ system is entirely customizable and everything about it is meant to enhance the luxury boating experience. While there are a few different ways to connect onboard, The Connected Yacht™ incorporates different sources of the internet and a very simple way to pick and choose which connection you want. Here are the various different ways you can connect:

                                                                                   SATELLITE INTERNET

We install the KVH VSAT HTS Satellite phone antennas that provide The Connected Yacht™ a broadband network virtually anywhere in the world. With a mini –VSAT antenna you can stay connected with your family and friends via the Internet, e-mail, VoIP phone and more.

With an award-winning TracVision marine satellite TV system onboard, you’ll enjoy high performance tracking, wide geographic coverage, and clear reception when watching your favorite programming.

                                                                                 KVH V7 HTS and V3HTS

                                                                                    CELLULAR INTERNET

Cellular Internet is becoming faster and faster. With the introduction of 4G LTE to the market, cellular data streaming is now being used even more often. We install a cellular device with an external antenna to provide a cellular connection even when offshore.
